Eleanor Oydna, CEO

Eleanor Oydna is the CEO and founder of Grant Writers, LLC. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), and holds a Certificate in Fundraising from Boston University.

Eleanor’s experience in grant writing began at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and expanded significantly when hired in 2000 at the Rasmuson Foundation to develop the office structure for grant giving on a large scale.  That work included establishing the database for managing the awards, developing reporting and other documents for grantee submission, and establishing the recordkeeping systems.  With over 15 years of philanthropic-related work, Eleanor has provided guidance to individuals and agencies spanning a wide range of disciplines, reviewed hundreds of proposals for funding, and participated in a wide range of fundraising activities.

Laraine brings over 10 years of experience in grant writing and fundraising, as well as experience serving as a volunteer for a variety of causes.  Laraine brings a structured approach to program planning and enjoys using her creativity to solve complex problems.  Laraine was born and raised in Alaska and received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
